Professional training packages can be customized to meet each candidate requirements, the IDC can be added to the Dive Master package or for those with Rescue training prior to arrival, a Divemaster, Instructor package can be arranged.
The PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor Program (IDC), is the final development step in your quest to become a PADI Instructor. During the IDC, you learn to manage and adapt the PADI System of diver education to individual student needs.
The PADI OWSI rating sets you apart from the crowd. PADI Instructors are able to conduct the entire range of PADI programs – from Discover Scuba right through to Divemaster. The PADI OWSI course consists of:
•    Dive Industry Overview
•    General Standards and Procedures
•    Legal Responsibility and Risk Management
•    The Role of Media and Prescriptive Teaching
•    PADI Scuba Diver and Open Water Diver Course
•    How to Teach the Recreational Dive Planner
•    Teaching Children
•    The PADI Continuing Education Philosophy
•    Business Principles for the Dive Instructor
•    Adventures in Diving Program
•    Specialty Diver Courses and Master Scuba Diver Program
•    Rescue Diver Course
•    Divemaster Course
•    Diver Retention Programs Pre-requisites
•    PADI Divemaster
•    100 logged dives to meet IE entry requirements or 60 for IDC
•    Current Medical
•    Six months as a qualified diver
•    Current First Aid Certificate (within 24 months of completion of IDC)
•    EFR Instructor Rating (As of March 2009)

Seven Day IDC Package includes (8 days with optional orientation dives)
•    PADI IDC Fee
•    Cylinders and Air for both the IDC and IE
•    Two Pre IDC Orientation Dives
•    Training Aids
Not included: IE Fee, Candidate Workbook, Instructor Manual and required Instructor slates, accommodation. (Accommodation available at some sites)
Instructor Examinations are scheduled to follow the IDC within 2 days and are run at a neutral local location by PADI Asia Pacific.
Instructor EFR training can precede the IDC for those who do not have this rating.
